WHEELING — Football fever meets foodie paradise at this year’s Food Truck Festival at Oglebay, and you don’t want to miss it.

Mark your calendars for 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, as the park transforms into the ultimate tailgate destination — complete with big flavors, bold entertainment and a giant projection screen showing the Backyard Brawl between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Pitt Panthers.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m., but the festivities start bright and early at 11 a.m. Come early, claim your spot and bring your best tailgate game — literally.

Oglebay will be holding a Most Spirited Tailgater contest throughout the afternoon, so break out the banners, face paint and foam fingers. The competition will be fierce, and the bragging rights — unmatched.

All day long, enjoy a mouthwatering lineup of food trucks serving up everything from savory street eats to indulgent sweets. Fan-favorite vendors include Cousins Maine Lobster, Pittsburgh Crepes, Jimmy’s Avocados, and many more.

The stage heats up with live music starting at noon, featuring:

– Cassie & Dave at noon.

– Tom’s Kitchen Table at 2 p.m.

– Taylor Jo & The Copper Creek Band at 5 p.m.

– And a headlining performance by Heart of Rock & Roll — a high-energy tribute to Huey Lewis & the News — at 7:30 p.m.

Whether attending for the game, the grub or the groove, this is a chance to be part of the biggest tailgate party in the Ohio Valley.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets, a game day outfit and a big appetite. Celebrate the end of summer with a day full of community spirit, fierce fandom and full plates.

Oglebay invites everyone to be part of the tradition.
