WHEELING — The Capitol Theatre welcomesGrammy, ACM, CMA and CMT Award-winning country artist Carly Pearce to the stage today, Friday, April 24.

Known for her powerful vocals, honest songwriting and deep roots in traditional country, Pearce has become one of the genre’s most celebrated modern voices.

The Kentucky native and Grand Ole Opry member first broke through with her debut album “Every Little Thing” and the platinum-certified title track. Since then, she has earned multiple chart-topping hits, including “What He Didn’t Do,” “Never Wanted to Be That Girl,” and her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Chris Stapleton, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.”

Fresh off her 40-plus date Hummingbird World Tour and the success of her critically acclaimed album “Hummingbird,” Pearce is currently working on her fifth studio album. She continues to resonate with fans through her authenticity, timeless sound and captivating live performances.

Fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into an award-winning country star who embraces the genre’s forward progression.

The Wheeling show promises to be a very special one for both the artist and her fans. Those on hand for the performance tonight at the Capitol Theatre will be able to celebrate Pearce’s 36th birthday with her – which is today.

Opening the show will be DEK of Hears, a powerhouse trio blending country, pop and bluegrass influences with soaring three-part harmonies and undeniable onstage chemistry. Featured on Season 28 of NBC’s “The Voice,” they earned a rare four-chair turn that famously put Reba McEntire on the floor. The trio advanced to the Top 3 of the season, culminating in a career-defining appearance in the grand finale of the Rose Parade before more than 40 million television viewers worldwide to kick off the new year. Their journey resonated widely, amassing over 26 million views across social media to date. National press coverage quickly followed, further cementing their place as one of country-pop’s fastest-rising acts.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and show time is 7:30 p.m.
