MOUNDSVILLE – The stage is set for tonight’s competition at the Strand Theatre in Moundsville for Strand’s Got Talent!

In the style of “America’s Got Talent,” eight different acts will perform for a panel of judges during a live performance at 7 p.m. today, Friday, May 15.

Every performer will perform at least once. Following the first round of performances, judges will determine the top three. The selected three acts will present a second round to determine first, second and third prize.

First place will win $300 (sponsored by the City of Moundsville Arts and Culture Commission) and will be featured as an opening act for the July 10, 2026 Jefferson Friday event. Second place will win $200 (sponsored by John Marshall High School ’69-’79 Alumni Association). Third place will win $100 (sponsored by GreenTab).

While at the show, don’t forget to make a monetary donation to vote for your People’s Choice Award winner!

Presale tickets are available at Frame and Fortunes and online at strandtheatrewv.com/events. Adult tickets (18 and up) are $15 and student tickets (17 and under) are $12. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tony Summers will emcee the event.
