WHEELING – The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra Community Choir will perform today, Friday, May 29, at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wheeling.

Show time is 7 p.m.

Since its debut at the symphony’s 95th anniversary celebration last May, the WSO Community Choir has been lauded as an outstanding addition to the WSO family. In just over a year, the choir has performed at Symphony on Ice and Music Under the Stars, as well as with the Wheeling Symphony Youth Orchestra and at our flood relief concert last summer.

But now is the chance to see them take center stage, as the very first Wheeling Symphony Community Choir concert will take place today. Accompanied by Debbie Breiding as well as local string teachers, the program will showcase these talented vocalists and the hard work they have put into the ensemble these past few months.

The concert will be conducted by WSO Community Choir director Joyce Jingle.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
