NEW MARTINSVILLE — It’s to come back home to West Virginia this weekend to the annual Back Home Festival in New Martinsville.

Voted as the Best Festival in West Virginia by WV Living Magazine, the Back Home Festival returns this year with a full slate of musical acts today through Sunday, June 26-28.

The popular event has continued to grow each year since it began in 2017. Some of the biggest up-and-coming artists and veteran musical acts have help propel the Back Home Festival into a true favorite among music lovers each year.

This year is no exception with a solid lineup of returning groups and newcomers alike. There will be performances on the main stage area south of the West Virginia Northern Community College building and north of the creek. There will also be select performances in the Lincoln Theater, with no overlapping sets.

Three full days of music kick off at 6 p.m. today. The live music schedule will be as follows:

Friday, June 26 — Crows Company, 6 p.m.; Colt Clark & The Quarantine Kids, 7:30 p.m.; Splintered Sunlight, 9 p.m.; and The Reckoning Revue (Late Night – Lincoln Theater), 11 p.m.

Saturday, June 27 — Option 22, 1 p.m.; Mountain Static, 2 p.m.; Bucket of Puppies, 3 p.m.; Eleanor Walrus, 4 p.m.; John Welton & The Awakening, 5 p.m.; Be Free, 6 p.m.; Bella Rayne & Friends, 7:30 p.m.; Railroad Earth, 9 p.m.; and Brahctopus (Late Night – Lincoln Theater), 11 p.m.

Sunday, June 28 — Crows Company Gospel Hour, 11 a.m.; Company Caravan, noon; Old Soul Reunion, 1:30 p.m.; Nick Davisson, 2:30 p.m.; Guthrie Family Singers, 3:30 p.m.; John Ingrham Band, 5 p.m.; Smilo & The Ghost, 6:30 p.m.; Davisson Brothers Band, 8 p.m.

There will be an array of food, beverage and merchandise vendors on hand at the festival, and camping at both the New Martinsville Marina and the Wetzel County 4H Campgrounds will be available. Shuttle transportation for guests will be available throughout the weekend.
