Sean Carney’s 15th Annual Blues For a Cure Set

CADIZ – Live music returns to The Mark Stage at Sally Buffalo Park in Cadiz this weekend for a good cause as Blues for a Cure kicks off tonight.
The 15th Annual Blues For a Cure, presented by MPLX, is a free public concert that will kick off at 6 p.m. today, Friday, June 26, and will continue on Saturday, June 27, with music beginning at 4 p.m. The Mark Stage at Sally Buffalo Park is located at 43000 Industrial Park Road in Cadiz.
Proceeds from the event benefit WVU Harrison Community Hospital Foundation and the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders.
Since inception, this annual charity concert event has raised nearly $320,000 for the local area. Blues For A Cure has raised over $500,000 since Sean Carney started the fund in 2007. This is the sixth year the event is a two-night concert and will be hosted on the outdoor stage, The Mark at The Park.
Performers include the Sean Carney Band, Gabe Stillman, Noah Wotherspoon, Ricky Nye, Austin and the Syd Experience and Jake Friel.
This event is BYOB. Food, water and soda will be available for purchase from on site food vendors. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, sun tents and blankets.
