Brooke Hills Playhouse Youth Cast Presents ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’

WELLSBURG -- Brooke Hills Playhouse is excited to announce its upcoming youth/family theater production of "The Emperor's New Clothes," adapted by Timothy Mason.
Presented by special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences, this vibrant and fast-paced staging brings Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale of honesty, vanity, and humor to life for audiences of all ages.
Written with charm and wit, Mason's adaptation tells the story of an emperor obsessed with royal fashion who falls prey to two cunning weavers claiming to make extraordinary clothes visible only to those who are wise and competent.
Filled with colorful characters and timeless lessons, "The Emperor's New Clothes" promises an entertaining outing for children and adults alike.
Performances will run across two consecutive weekends at Brooke Hills Playhouse: today, Friday, July 31 through Sunday, Aug. 2, and Friday, Aug. 7 through Sunday, Aug. 9. Performance times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
