WHEELING - When Curb Records recording artist Lee Brice isn't selling out arenas, writing and recording songs or building new brands like Dulce Vida Tequila and Loud Lemon, you'll find the family man with his wife Sara, two young boys, and daughter.
Meanwhile, with over 12.5 billion career streams, Brice continues to enjoy massive success at country radio, digital streaming services and on the road. He has reached the No. 1 spot at Country Radio with Platinum-selling "Memory I Don't Mess With," which consecutively follows three prior No. 1 hits: ASCAP's 2021 Country Song of the Year and 3x Platinum track "One of Them Girls," "I Hope You're Happy Now" with Carly Pearce and the 4x Platinum hit "Rumor," which was nominated in the category Single of The Year at the 55th Annual ACM Awards.
One of the most played country artists of all time on Pandora, he was the second country artist behind Keith Urban to receive the Pandora Billionaire plaque. He is also a Grammy nominee, a CMA and ACM award winner, and he's taken nine radio singles to No. 1: "A Woman Like You," "Hard to Love," "I Drive Your Truck," "I Don't Dance," "Drinking Class," "Rumor," "I Hope You're Happy Now," "One of Them Girls," and "Memory I Don't Mess With."
Brice returns to the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling as part of his Sunriser Tour on Friday, Oct. 23, to sing many of his hits. Opening the show will be local artist Gage Joseph. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and others have recorded his songs, and he's performed on numerous TV shows, including NBC's "Today," ABC's "The Bachelor," NBC's "The Voice" and FOX's "Miss USA" 2018. Brice performed as part of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song honoring Garth Brooks, aired on PBS March of 2020.
At the 54th Annual CMA Awards, he took home the prize for Musical Event of the Year for his song with Carly Pearce, "I Hope You're Happy Now." At the 56th ACM Awards, "I Hope You're Happy Now" won Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year, and Brice and Pearce performed the song live.
His 2020 album "Hey World" was certified as Platinum and features several multi-Platinum selling hits. Brice released his powerful and reflective radio single "Killed the Man" in October of 2025. The track will be featured alongside his latest release "Truck Bed Mixtape" on his upcoming album, "Sunriser."
Opening the show will be the Ohio Valley’s own Gage Joseph, a country and roots-rock singer-songwriter whose music blends modern country storytelling with the timeless grit of classic American rock. Known for his authentic delivery and strong live performances, Joseph has been building a reputation across the region as a versatile performer who can command a room with either a stripped-down acoustic set or a full-band show.

Gage Joseph
Drawing influence from the storytelling tradition of country music and the guitar-driven energy of classic rock, Joseph's songs reflect the everyday experiences of small-town America --relationships, late nights, hard lessons and the search for something real. His sound combines warm vocals, expressive guitar work and a style that feels both contemporary and rooted in tradition.
A regular performer throughout the Ohio Valley, Joseph has appeared at venues, festivals and promotional events, developing a loyal local following through consistent live shows and engaging performances. Whether playing a listening-room acoustic set or a lively bar crowd, his focus remains the same: connecting with the audience through honest music and a memorable stage presence.
With new music in development and a growing performance schedule, Joseph continues expanding his reach while representing the independent spirit and musical roots of the Ohio Valley.
