Artworks Around Town Kicks Off Holidays
WHEELING - Every year Artworks ushers in the holidays with a show featuring new works especially created for the upcoming season.
The public is invited to come join Artworks for the opening from 5:30-7 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 6. The party is free and open to the public.
Member artists are free to explore styles and mediums that are not their usual ones for this show. Guests will be met with new paintings, photographs, jewelry and other items perfect for gift giving for anyone on their lists. Gift certificates are also available all year long for those who would prefer to give in that manner.
Receiving an original work of art or a hand crafted item means so much more than any other kind of gift.
The Gallery is located in Wheeling's Historic Centre Market and is open six days a week from Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
