FAIRVIEW - The Pennyroyal Opera House will host a bluegrass show today, Friday, Nov. 6, featuring Travis Watts & Mountain Blessings.
A high-energy, hard-driving bluegrass band, Travis Watts & Mountain Blessings captivates listeners with dynamic harmonies and lightning-fast picking. This group originates from the historic town of Mount Airy, and they are deeply rooted in the Appalachian tradition but add their own unique flavor to the music.
With a deep love for the genre, they breathe new life into classic songs from the past, while seamlessly incorporating fresh bluegrass sounds and original compositions.
The opening band for the night will be Alum Creek.
The kitchen and doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, 12 and under are free.
The Pennyroyal Opera House consists of a 100-percent volunteer staff and is located in Fairview, Ohio, just off Interstate 70 at exit 198.
