Angela Michelle Gessler and Daniel Patrick Curran of Bridgeport were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Wheeling Park, with Linda Fisher officiating.
Parents of the bride are Jim and Beth Gessler of Bridgeport.
Parents of the groom are Julie Curran of Bellaire and the late Jim Curran.
Mikaya Green, daughter of the bride, served as maid of honor; Krista Reith, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Jon Curran and Joe Curran were best men.
Other attendants included Gail Artimez, Jessica Cox, Sarah Dragonetti, Christie Gary, Kara Heldreth, Melanie Knutsen, Melanie Lawley, Mandi Moore, Lorie Mullen, Jennifer Pickett, Erin Shafer, Jared Driscoll, Jimmy Driscoll, Ty Liberatore, Gregg Montgomery, John Olack, Neal Zaccagnini and Jimmy Gessler, brother of the bride. Additional attendants were Emily Ross, Madeline Ross, Dylan Lawley, Emerson Shafer and Thomas “Bub” Leigh.
The bride is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and West Virginia University with a master’s degree in school counseling. She is a school guidance counselor with Marshall County Schools.
The groom is a graduate of St. John’s Central School and the University of Akron with a degree in criminal justice. He is a home supervisor for the Mentor Network.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Cancun in November. The family resides in Bridgeport.
