Bethany Nicole Hughes and Brian Christopher Farmer were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Oglebay Park. The Rev. Dennis Arnold officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Espenschied of Triadelphia.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence “Bud” Farmer Sr. of Valley Grove.

Laura Shimenga was matron of honor. Carey Farmer was maid of honor. Randy Wiechman and Orville Smith served as best men.

Other attendants were Kailin Hughes and Jocelyn Farmer, daughters of the couple; Josue Farmer and Donovan Ramos.

A reception was held at Camp Russel, Oglebay Park.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2006 graduate of Wheeling Hospital’s radiology program. She is employed at Wheeling Hospital.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. He possesses a Class A commercial drivers’ license which he received from All State Career in 2011. He is employed by 18 Karat Inc. at Bailey Mine Expansion as a heavy equipment operator.

After a wedding trip in Panama City, the couple resides in Triadelphia.
