Samantha Jo Winiesdorffer and Matthew Jerome Amway were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Columbus, with the Rev. Fritzer Valcin officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Carrie Winiesdorffer of St. Clairsville.
The groom’s parents are Pamela Amway of Sandusky and the late Stanley Amway III.
Lara Pytlik was maid of honor. Suzanne Pubal was matron of honor. Robert Amway, brother of the groom, served as best man.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a 2009 graduate of Ohio University, Athens, with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology with minors in dance performance and psychology and a 2012 graduate of Ohio University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is employed at The Ohio State University Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, specializing in performing arts medicine.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School in Sandusky, a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a 2011 graduate of Ohio University with a doctorate in physical therapy. He is employed at The Ohio State University Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Columbus.
