Jessica Marie Swope and Eric Christopher Novick were united in marriage Saturday, July 12, at Immaculate Conception Chapel at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa. The Rev. Joseph Lehman officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Karen and Galen Swope of Cresson, Pa.
The groom is the son of Victor and Vicki Novick of Glen Dale.
Jessica Sylvester was matron of honor. Bobby Herron served as best man.
Other attendants included Sarah Barlick, Mallory Becker, Jamie Orr, Lindsay Kallas, Amanda Ronan, Shayna Saldana, Anthony Montes, Matthew Novick, Shane Novick, Joshua Swope, Dave Bland and Bill Harmon.
A reception was held at the Blair County Convention Center.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, a 2009 graduate of St. Francis University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education and a 2012 graduate of Clarion University with a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She is an elementary special education teacher at Mill Creek Towne Elementary School, Derwood, Md.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and a 2009 graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a naval auditor for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.
After taking a southern Caribbean wedding cruise, the couple resides in Germantown, Md.
