Amanda Jo Gardner and Adam Douglas Taylor were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 27, at Confluence Resort, Hico, W.Va., with retired West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Larry Starcher performing the outdoor ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carol Riggle of Moundsville and Thomas Gardner of Beaver Falls, Pa.
The groom is the son of Sherman Taylor of Pineville, W.Va., and Judith Tackett of Beckley, W.Va.
Rebecca Wu, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Matt Hurd served as best man.
Other attendants were Bethany Bryan, Sarah McDaniel, Dave Menich and Travis Sayre.
An outdoor reception was held at Confluence Resort.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She is an attorney at the law firm of Stephen P. New in Beckley.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Wyoming East High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate. He is an attorney at his private law practice in Beckley.
