Brittany Lane Cecil and Robert Wade Springer were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 12, on the lawn of the Moundsville Country Club, with Brian Price officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ardith and Tammy Cecil of Moundsville.
The groom is the son of Earl and Joan Springer of Hunker, Pa.
Brielle Cecil, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Charles Stromberg served as best man.
Other attendants were Brianna Cecil, sister of the bride; Tonya Hustead; Rebekah Newell; Jude Gore; Brian Ihlenfeld and Gabriel Koontz.
A reception was held at the Moundsville Country Club.
Cecil is a 2000 graduate of John Marshall High School, a 2004 summa cum laude graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and a 2007 graduate of Winthrop University with a Master of Arts in English. She is employed by Marshall County Schools as an English teacher at Cameron High School.
Springer is a 1994 graduate of Hempfield Area High School and a 1999 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in music education. He is employed by Southeastern Greene School District as a music teacher at Mapletown Junior/Senior High School.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Moundsville.
