Jessie McCleery and Adam Parkulo were united in marriage Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wheeling.
The Rev. Mark Seitz officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at the Glessner Auditorium at Oglebay Park.
Jessie is the daughter of Charlie and Beth McCleery, formerly of Washington, Pennsylvania and West Alexander, Pennsylvnia, and Wheeling. Adam’s parents are Dave and Lisa Parkulo of Beckley, West Virginia.
Serving as bridesmaids were maid of honor, Emilee Woodfin of Wheeling; bridesmaids Logan Parkulo of Beckley, sister of the groom, Linden Nelson of Wheeling, Elizabeth Turak of Wheeling, and Megan Curtis of Wheeling.
Groomsmen were best man and brother of the groom Travis Parkulo of Beckley, Austin Peters of Beckley, Ryan Parkulo of Fort Pierce Florida, brothers of the bride, James McCleery and Will McCleery, both of Wheeling.
The groom’s cousins, Harper and Tatum Smolder and Liza Kapp, served as flower girls along with cousin Grayson Matula as ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and health and exercise science. She graduated with a masters in occupational therapy from West Virginia University in 2017.
Jessie is now happily employed as a pediatric occupational therapist for Theracare in Fishers, Indiana.
The groom is a graduate of Bluefield State with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and later completed his MBA from Liberty University.
Adam is a district manager of the Great Lakes Region for JTI.
The couple enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in St. Lucia before returning to their home in Westfield, Indiana.
