Goodwill Store/Training Center Opens in Warwood

The sign is up at the new Goodwill Store location in the Warwood Shopping Plaza. The store is open seven days a week.

After almost three years’ absence, Goodwill Retail is back in the Wheeling area.

The new store is located in the Warwood Shopping Plaza next to Subway, with plenty of free parking near the door.

This bright, clean store has nearly 3,000 square feet of retail floor space and another 2,000 square feet of backroom space for processing the donations it receives.

Donations can be dropped off seven days a week. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and noon-6:30 p.m. Sunday. It is closed on all major holidays.

Goodwill is a not-for-profit organization providing work opportunities, education, training and placement programs to people with barriers to employment. The store is neatly arranged with racks of clothing containing everything from pajamas to coats, pants, tops, sweaters and even prom gowns. Handbags can be found hanging from hooks along the walls. There also are shelves with housewares and toys.

“If the old saying is true that when times get tough, the tough go shopping. Then Wheeling you are in luck as our Goodwill retail store has a wonderful selection of modestly priced clothing, shoes, purses, housewares and electrical appliances for your shopping needs,” said Dan Hartman, vice president at Zanesville Welfare Organization and Goodwill Industries Inc.

Starting at $3.70/week.
