WHEELING - Ohio County students relying on Schoology to access school lessons online are finding it sometimes difficult to enter the internet site, and the school district is seeking to address the problem.
As more and more students are using Schoology, the system has not been able to handle the traffic, according to Gabe Wells, spokesman for Ohio County Schools.
"Our technology team has been in contact with Schoology administrators, and they've told us they are working to correct the issue," Wells said. "Those issues are the result of the large number of users across the county attempting to utilize the technology."
He said Schoology hasn't given the school district a timeline in which Schoology will be fully functional in Ohio County.
"Ohio County Schools will make our students and parents aware of when those issues have been resolved," he said.
