The Church of God and Saints of Christ at 1120 Eoff St. in Wheeling will be giving away lunches each week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for students at its school. Parents can stop by to pick up lunch for the entire week for their children at the church. The church had been serving hot meals, but had to change that recently due to orders not allowing them to congregate in large groups. "Once the virus passes, we will go back to serving hot meals for the kids and then begin a summer program to provide lunch and snacks for the kids along with various activities for them to participate in throughout the summer," Pastor Melvin Williams said.
