WEST LIBERTY -- The application cycle for the next class of graduate students entering the West Liberty University's physician assistant program is now open and will continue to accept applications until Oct. 1.
To allow prospective students to learn more about the program, meet the faculty and ask questions, WLU will hold a virtual open house using the Zoom video platform at 1 p.m. today.
"This will be our second virtual open house," said program Director Dr. William Childers. "Having an open house on Zoom is a perfect chance for any student interested in learning more about our program to join us and find out what makes WLU's program special."
Interested students can register for the event by going online to westliberty.secure.force.com/events and clicking on the link for May 27 on the calendar.
Students accepted into the master's degree program will begin their studies in July 2021.
West Liberty University's physician assistant program welcomed its first class in the summer of 2012 and continues to accept qualified students on an annual basis. WLU's Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program takes 24 months to complete with students completing course work on campus during the first year and clinical rotations in the second year.
