National Women in Roofing Wheeling Council, a new local organization, collaborated with several sponsors last week to honor some of Wheeling's healthcare workers. Donations from Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal, East Coast Metal Systems, American Plate Glass, Belmont County Salvation Army, Dawes Welding, Kennedy Hardware, Specialty Supply, and 84 Lumber, allowed NWiR Wheeling Council to provide over 300 Wheeling Hospital healthcare workers with goodies on Friday to show their appreciation and support. National Nurses' Week, which would have celebrated May 6-12, was expanded to National Nurses Month.
