The executive officers of the Weirton Board of Realtors met recently to discuss the changes in real estate during this unprecedented year of COVID-19. Wearing masks and using various types of hand sanitizers, those gathered talked about the importance of maintaining client safety as well as the safety of other agents and themselves while continuing business in an effective manner. Many real estate offices offer free sanitizer, gloves and masks to those entering their offices, on showings and during open houses-if sellers still elect to have those. "Despite the quarantine and the interruption to our economy, real estate is booming locally," said board President Sonia Ciafardone-McCombs. "We're working very hard to meet the need but doing it in as safe a way as possible."
