Swank Construction crews continue the demolition and construction process of the I-70 East Fulton Bridge sections of the I-70 Bridges Project this week. As part of the second phase of the project, I-70 eastbound is closed between Exit 1B (the W.Va. 2 South -16th Street exit) to Exit 2A (Mount deChantal Road/Oglebay Park exit). While I-70 Exit 1B just east of Wheeling Tunnel remains open, the W.Va. 2 North on-ramp to I-70 East is closed.
