Wheeling-Based WesBanco Promotes Three Employees to Executive Positions

WesBanco Trust and Investment Services announced Wednesday the promotion of three of its employees to executive vice president roles.

Scott Love, Michael Klick and Steve Kellas all earned those new positions, said Jonathan D. Dargusch, WesBanco’s Executive Vice President Wealth Management. Love will be Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Strategist at WTIS, while Klick will be Executive Vice President Chief Portfolio Strategist and Kellas will be Executive Vice President Chief Fixed Income Specialist.

“This is an exciting time in the 100-year history of WesBanco Trust and Investment Services,” Dargusch said. “For generations, WTIS has helped thousands of individuals, businesses, government entities, and charitable organizations develop plans to build and preserve wealth and achieve financial goals. (Love, Klick and Kellas) are proven leaders with decades of knowledge and experience, and have a strong dedication to our customers, communities, and employees.”

Love will manage the WesMark Family of Funds, develop investment strategies, and direct the strategic and tactical asset allocation of the overall portfolio. Scott joined WTIS during 2012, and has nearly 20 years of investment research and portfolio management experience.

Klick will direct the portfolio management process for WTIS, create micro- and macrosolutions to meet portfolio goals and objectives, and develop and maintain separately managed accounts, strategies, and model portfolios. Klick joined WTIS during 2002, and has nearly 20 years of experience in investment research, portfolio management, and trust administration.

Kellas will develop multi-sector strategies and, in conjunction with Love, formulate and maintain fixed income strategies across WTIS, the WesBanco Investment Department, and WesBanco Bank. Kellas joined WTIS during 1989, and has almost 28 years of experience in investment research, portfolio management, and trust administration.
