Jersey Mike’s Subs Coming to The Highlands

The Jersey Shore's favorite sub shop is coming to The Highlands.
The Ohio County Development Authority this week approved a lease with Jersey Mike's. The restaurant will be located in Building 4 at The Highlands along with the Xfinity Store, Starbucks and Chipotle.
It will be the second Jersey Mike's planned for the local area.
A Jersey Mike's also has been announced for the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville.
Jersey Mike's presently lists nine locations in West Virginia. Among these are two in Morgantown, and others in Barboursville, Charles Town, Charleston, Clarksburg, Hurricane, Martinsburg and Vienna.
Jersey Mike's -- headquartered in Manasquan, New Jersey -- was founded in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
It offers both hot and cold sandwiches.
Among its menu items are a grilled portabella mushroom and swiss sandwich, and a variety of both steak and chicken cheesesteak sandwiches.
A "stickball special" features provolone cheese, ham and salami.
