Nursing Students at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital Awarded Scholarships

Several students of the B.M. Spurr School of Nursing at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital received scholarships to assist with the expenses of their final quarter of schooling.

The students are entering their fourth quarter and expect to graduate in late August. Several students applied for, and received, scholarships from several different organizations.

Reynolds Memorial Hospital extended congratulations to the 2021 student scholarship winners and thanked all the individuals and organizations that donated.

– Lacey Apostolec -- Moundsville Women's Club Scholarship

– Shayna Caldwell -- Trinity Episcopal Church Scholarship

– Maggie Conner -- B.M. Spurr School Advisory Council Scholarship

– Miranda Friede -- Dr. Dharawat Scholarship

– Elizabeth Fox -- Madolyn Allum Scholarship from WVU Medicine/Reynolds Memorial Hospital Auxiliary

– Caleb Howell -- Jenny Jones McColm Scholarship

– Kyrie Menendez -- Moundsville Women's Club Scholarship & Valerie Noel Scholarship

– Clarissa Paul -- Dorothy McCulley Scholarship

– Hannah Pimentel -- Medical/Dental Staff Scholarship

– Rebekah Shrock -- Jenny Jones McColm Scholarship

– Ellen Swegard -- Ladies League of Marshall County Scholarship in memory of Kathy Martin

– Jasmine Williams -- Hermine Skvarka Scholarship

Classes for 2021-2022 students will begin the first week of September and the BM Spurr School of Nursing begins accepting applications for the 2022-23 class in December.
