Demolition of the former Chase Bank continues in downtown Wheeling on Monday. The structure is being razed to make way for a new parking garage. The city of Wheeling hired Raze International of Shadyside to do the asbestos abatement and demolition job for $475,000. The future parking garage is expected to cost about $14 million and be used by tenants of the new Wheeling-Pitt Lofts.
