Ohio County Schools Celebrate The Arts

Ohio County Schools’ Celebration of the Arts was held Tuesday evening at Wheeling Park High School. Projects from elementary, middle and high school students in various mediums were on display. Wheeling Park senior Cecilia Demasi paints a self portrait as she sits in front of other examples of her work. Her painting Tuesday night was part of her senior spotlight, which highlighted the work of numerous soon-to-be graduates.

Bridge Street Middle School students' projects - many of them showing their takes on popular snack foods - were out for view. Members of the Ohio County Schools Middle School All-State Strings group played various pieces on stage at the J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center.Cast members from Wheeling Park High's upcoming performance of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" perform the song "Omigod You Guys."
