WHEELING — A Wheeling man was indicted on five total counts including drug and weapons charges this week by an Ohio County grand jury. He is one of 16 people the jury indicted.

Everard Kenneth Prude, 49, was indicted on one count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, fentanyl, net weight of 5 grams or more, one count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, cocaine, one count of possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, heroin and one count of person prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Prude was arrested after, according to WPD reports, police were called to 300 North Front St. in October for an unresponsive woman who was suffering from an apparent drug overdose. The woman, 43-year-old Latahsa Collins of Wheeling, was taken to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital for treatment, where she later died.

Wheeling Police officers and detectives got a search warrant for the house and allegedly discovered multiple firearms connected to Prude. They also allegedly discovered a large amount of drugs in the house.

Other indictments returned by the grand jury were:

– William Stevenson, 27, of Wheeling — one count, entering without breaking, one count, grand larceny;

– Jessi Lanie Baker, 28, of Bellaire — two counts, gross child neglect creating substantial risk of serious bodily injury or death, one count driving with alcohol concentration of fifteen-hundredths of one percent;

– Joshua Andrew Humphrey, 30, of Wheeling — one count, burglary;

– Colby Dale Adkins, 27, of Wheeling — one count, robbery in the first degree, one count, conspiracy;

– Megan Brooke Duerr, 47, of Wheeling — one count, robbery in the first degree, one count, conspiracy;

– Thomas Plunkett III, 36, of Wheeling — one count, burglary;

– Jason William Gibbons, 40, of Wheeling — one count, robbery in the first degree, one count, assault during the commission of a felony;

– Dylon Brodrick Hrastnik, 22, of Wheeling — one count, robbery in the first degree, one count, conspiracy;

– Cynthia Louise Pritchett, 52, of Bridgeport — two counts, child neglect causing bodily injury, one count, driving in an impared state causing bodily injury;

– Clint Maurice Lekanudos, 26, of Wheeling — one count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, cocaine, one count, burglary, one count, domestic assault;

– Colby Dale Adkins, 27, of Wheeling — one count, robbery in the first degree, one count, conspiracy;

– Clarence William Bertram Jr., 30, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio — one count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance: a narcotic, cocaine;

– David Arthur Hess, 58, of Wheeling — one count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance: marijuana;

– Stephen Michael Perdue, 35, of Wheeling — one count, domestic violence, third offense;

– John Zachary Abrigg, 35, of Wheeling — one count, domestic violence, third or subsequent offense, one count, violation of bail bond, one count, burglary;

– Jordan Evan Davis, 34, of Wheeling — one count, domestic battery, one count, strangulation, one count, unlawful restraint.
