A Marshall County grand jury returned indictments against 17 people for the July term of court, with drug charges and sex crimes making up the lion's share of cases.
Among the indictments was Leslie Junior Midcap, 67, of Cameron, who was indicted on four counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian, one count of first-degree sexual assault, and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. According to published reports, Midcap was arrested in October after a teenage girl told police Midcap had molested her years prior, when she was 5 years old. According to police reports, Midcap allegedly assaulted the girl at his residence and threatened the girl if she told anybody.
Also indicted was Willie Wayne Jones, 31, of Pittsburgh, who in 2019 allegedly was caught on camera driving his pickup truck into a Cameron business, where he was said to have stolen more than $20,000 in cash. Jones is accused of driving through the doors of Mrs. D's Hoagie Shack, attaching a cable to an ATM, and using the vehicle to pull the machine free, driving away with it.
Jones was arrested in November 2019 and extradited to Pennsylvania on unrelated warrants. He was indicted for entering a building other than a dwelling, grand larceny and destruction of property.
Others indicted Tuesday are:
Timothy Abate, 27, three counts of transporting a controlled substance onto the grounds of a jail
Thomas Allen Jr., 29, two counts of grand larceny, burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
Joshua Colvin, 39, delivery of a controlled substance and receiving/transferring stolen property.
Paul Derby, 38, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, transportation of controlled substances with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to transport controlled substances with intent to deliver.
David Garrison, 28, six counts of unauthorized use of an access device.
Andrew Goding, 35, two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, transportation of controlled substances with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to transport controlled substances with intent to deliver.
Marcia Guze, 47, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
Kenneth Henry, delivery of a controlled substance.
Zachary McClintock, 33, delivery of a controlled substance.
Jason Stern, 46, burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.
Joseph Michael Thompson, 32, two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of soliciting a minor via computer.
Robbin Tukesbrey, 31, uttering.
Edward Willison, 39, burglary and violation of a protective order.
Ashley Wood, 36, delivery of a controlled substance.
Mark William Woods, 54, three counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
