Pictured are, from left, freshman James Maclay, freshman Mya White, freshman Emma McNickle, freshman Josh Hess, junior Hayden Uhrig and Becky Shilling-Rodocker, executive director of The Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling. On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Ohio County Schools Robotics Boosters will hold a soup and salad fundraiser at the soup kitchen from 1-4 p.m., with part of the proceeds going to the county's middle and high school robotics teams. Team members from Wheeling Park, and Warwood, Wheeling, Triadelphia and Bridge Street middle schools will be on hand volunteering at the event. Tickets are $20 each and will be available at the door. The soup kitchen and OCS Robotics also are partnering in a winter coat drive. Donors can drop of a new or used adult winter coat at WPHS, Triadelphia, Bridge Street, Wheeling and Warwood middle schools or at the soup kitchen until Dec. 1. (Photo by Derek Redd)
