Suff. Bishop Darrell Cummings reads to third graders at Madison Elementary School on Friday in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will be several events in Wheeling celebrating King's legacy throughout the next few days. A Shabbat service was at Temple Shalom on Friday evening, and a community dialogue will be held at West Virginia Northern Community College's B&O Auditorium at 1 p.m. Saturday. The annual MLK March will begin at the windmill atop Martin Luther King Blvd at 2:15 p.m. Sunday with an awards presentation and community banquet at the WVNCC B&O Auditorium at 3 p.m. Sunday. An MLK Awards breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Laughlin Chapel, with special programs for children following at Laughlin Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Monday. (Photo Provided)
