The Bellaire Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at 10:23 p.m. Sunday at the Rich Oil Gas Station, located at 3880 Noble St, Bellaire.
The police department is still looking for the suspect. According to a press release from Bellaire PD, the suspect is a white male, 6 feet tall and 170-175 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black mask, black gloves, black pants and a black jacket with camouflage print stripes on the sleeves. He was also carrying a black duffel bag.
Police Chief J.J. Watson said the suspect walked into the gas station and asked the clerk to give him "all the money." The suspect reportedly placed the cash and some cigarettes into the black duffle bag.
According to a press release, the suspect did not have a visible weapon, and he fled from the scene on foot. He was last seen traveling north.
Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
The press release states that Bellaire PD has a surveillance video of the robbery from a security camera at Rich Oil Gas Station.
According to the release, officials believe the suspect could have been involved in other recent local robberies, including one Friday evening in Colerain.
Watson explained that the physical descriptions of the suspect in both robberies, including his clothing, were similar.
