Members of Wheeling City Council are considering an ordinance to create a right-turn only from the bottom of Junior Avenue at the intersection of W.Va. 88, Junior Avenue and East Cove Avenue in Elm Grove. This intersection is expected to see increased detoured traffic as repairs to the Kruger Street Bridge have resulted in a temporary closure of the road there. Later this year, the historic "hump bridge" on National Road at Monument Place is also expected to be closed for repairs. An ordinance to create the right turn is expected to receive a second and final vote by Wheeling City Council on April 2.
