Regus HQ Now Offering Shared Office Space Opens At The Highlands

A new way of doing business in a new age and having office space and services when needed has made its way to The Highlands.

Regus HQ has opened a shared office location featuring modern design and great views on the second floor in what was previously the AT&T Call Center building at the development.

The facility, owned by Ohio County Development Authority, is located at 300 Wharton Center, Suite 290.

County officials and others were on hand Thursday night for the official ribbon cutting.

Ohio County Commission Zach Abraham said the facility is ideal for people who travel to Ohio County to work “a day here, a day there” and need a space without the expense of renting a full-size office.

Purchasing a membership entitles the member to an office room at one location that can house up to as many as four desks, as the ability to set up a remote workstation when needed at any HQ shared office locations in the world.

Abraham is familiar with the business, and has often used HQ co-working locations when he travels for his personal business AlignHR.

He is one of the first four members to locate in the HQ space at The Highlands, and there are about 30 office spaces available. Cost for membership including an office space starts at $129 a month.

“It just complements the area that we have this space available at a reasonable cost,” Abraham said.

HQ offers not just offices, but also meeting rooms, WiFi and IT support, as well as a kitchen area and breakout space where members can chat and network with other members.

HQ can also provide a professional business address for members who operate a virtual office, and can handle their mail and call answering.

“There are a lot of different office spaces … different businesses, but this offers congregations of smaller companies to come together and do entrepreneurial type of conversations they might need,” Abraham said.

“I personally have leased a space here because I have a need to travel to other parts of the country, and this allows me to have a membership in some of those other areas where I wouldn’t otherwise be able to get space.”

He said the HQ operates about 1,500 locations throughout the world.

Converting the former call center into the shared office space wasn’t a hard project, according to Abraham. There was some new carpet placed, a little painting and some furniture purchased.

Also located on the second floor of the building are Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Amedisys and REM Sevita Health.

Those interested in an office or services provided by HQ should call The Highlands facility at 681-237-5991, or email triadelphia.whartoncircle@hq.com.
