Warwood Save-A-Lot Closes After 15 Years

The Save-A-Lot store in Warwood has now closed its doors and is no longer serving customers.

An employee confirmed Thursday the store, located at 141 Warwood Ave. in Warwood Commons, was shutting down at the end of the day. It had been in operation at that location for 15 years.

The employee directed all calls to the Save-A-Lot corporate office in St. Ann, Missouri. Calls to the operator there went unanswered, and calls to a second toll-free number went to a line that was said to be disconnected.

Save-A-Lot operated 900 stores across 32 states as of late 2024.

Many of its stores in the region have been closing as the chain transitions to warehouse stores.

A company profile states the company was founded in 1977 and has 5,634 employees.

Starting at $2.99/week.
