WHEELING –The annual Festival of Trees may still be a few months away, but organizers are already looking for volunteers to decorate and to help set up for the event.

The festival will run from Nov. 7’s opening night gala through Nov. 15 in Oglebay Park Resort’s Pine Room. The event will feature dozens of already-decorated Christmas trees available for purchase.

Those that are purchased will be delivered to their new owners by Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration on Nov. 16. Proceeds from the sales go to Wheeling Health Right.

Every item available for sale last year was sold, organizers said, and they’d love for the same thing to happen this year. The Festival of Trees committee is looking for those wanting to decorate a tree, wreath or table arrangement. Those interested can call 304-780-7968 for more information.
