MOUNDSVILLE — The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce has announced the winning theme for this year’s Christmas parade — “Grateful Gifts” — submitted by a Sand Hill Elementary kindergarten student.
Student Ali Hillberry entered the winning name for the contest. She won a $100 cash prize, and the chamber will give Ali’s classmates a pizza party in her honor. She will also be recognized by being featured in the parade on Saturday, Nov. 22, along Jefferson Avenue in Moundsville.
The 55th annual Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will be broadcast live on the WJMH Media YouTube channel, beginning at 2 p.m. for those who are not able to attend in person.
