WHEELING — A three-vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania affected traffic all the way into Ohio County, according to Ohio County EMA Director Lou Vargo.

Around 5 p.m., a crash near the 5-mile marker of I-70 in Pennsylvania killed multiple people and injured several others, Vargo said.

Ohio County EMS was called to assist. The crash closed parts of I-70 for a while, but the interstate reopened later that evening.
