CANONSBURG, Pa. — North Strabane police arrested two people this week after finding about 1,000 stamp bags of suspected heroin and fentanyl in a vehicle.

Evan David Kelch, 43, of Republic, Ohio, and Tiffanie Ann Anderson, of Moundsville, W.Va., 33, each face a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the criminal complaint, on Monday police pulled over a vehicle on McClelland Road. Police obtained a search warrant for the car and discovered the stamp bags of suspected drugs.

Both Kelch and Anderson were arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Joshua Kanalis, who sent them to the Washington County jail on $30,000 bond.
