Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack Debuts New Restaurant and Nine-Concept Food Hub

Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack announced the opening of several food and beverage concepts, including a new food hub featuring nine individual concepts.
The new food and beverage offerings are part of a $4.5 million project that also includes enhancements to the hotel and gaming operations.
“Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is committed to delivering unforgettable experiences to our guests, and the opening of our new food and beverage concepts will further enhance that experience,” said Kim Florence, president and general manager of Wheeling Island.
Guests can enjoy an elevated dining experience at Cask & Clover Kitchen and Bar, featuring a lounge atmosphere open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night service. Meanwhile, the Gravitate Food Hub features nine unique concepts, offering a diverse selection of food styles for guests, including:
– The House that Patty Built, featuring double smash burgers, fries and onion rings;
– Birria Cantina Mexican Cuisine, featuring birria chicken or beef tacos, nachos and quesadillas;
– Fan Fuel, featuring sports snacks such as chicken wings, sandwiches and firecracker shrimp;
– Hencraft, featuring a golden-crusted fried chicken sandwich stacked with crisp lettuce, briny pickles and creamy kewpie mayo on a toasted roll;
– Reel Bols, featuring a variety of make-your-own Asian bowls served with an egg roll;
– Shakes & Cakes, featuring indulgent desserts and shakes ;
– The Grind Cafe, featuring gourmet coffees, pastries and grab-and-go offerings;
– Chef Faves, featuring chef-driven entrees, including meatloaf and salmon with rice and seasonal vegetables;
– The Saucy Side Italian Cuisine, featuring pizza, salads and make-your-own pasta bowls;
– The Express Kitchen, open 24 hours a day, allows guests to quickly fuel up on food and drinks, including coffee, salads and sandwiches with a self-checkout kiosk.
The new concepts join Wheeling Island’s sports bar, The Pointe Steakhouse and buffet, which was fully renovated and enhanced in 2024.
