MOUNDSVILLE – The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce recently installed six new board members, said Scott Reager, executive director of the chamber.

“We welcome each of them to the board of directors of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and thank them for their willingness to serve,” Reager said. “We appreciate their time, leadership and insight, and look forward to working with them in the years ahead.”

The chamber is governed by an 18-member Board of Directors whose role is to provide the executive director with “strategic insight, leadership and guidance.”

Board members’ terms last three years.

Meanwhile, with spring just around the corner, the chamber is gearing up for warmer weather events including its upcoming Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Living Better: Health & Business Expo.

The expo is slated March 6 from 4-8 p.m. and March 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moundsville Center which is located in the historic West Virginia Penitentiary.

It will feature more than 90 vendor booths and an indoor food court. Reager describes it as an event to “network, promote your business and connect with customers.”
