Celebration Set at Highlands Sports Complex

TRIADELPHIA — The Highlands Sports Complex invites the community to celebrate its American 250 Celebration on Sunday, July 5, from noon to 5 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature an afternoon of fun, food and activities for all ages.

Guests can enjoy open courts for pickleball, basketball and volleyball, as well as turf sports including football and soccer, along with access to the Play Climb wall for just $2.50 per person. The low-cost admission is designed to make it easy for families to stay active and celebrate together.

The event will also feature an all-you-can-eat barbecue, including hot dogs, hamburgers and Pepsi products. Participants who purchase the barbecue option will also receive a $5 arcade card and full access to all open-play activities. Barbecue pricing will vary by age.

Following the celebration, attendees are encouraged to continue the festivities at the Highlands County Fireworks Show, which begins at dusk.

“This event is all about bringing the community together for a day of fun, activity and celebration,” said Harvey Greenidge, general manager of the Highlands Sports Complex. “We’re excited to offer something for everyone before a great night of fireworks.”
