It’s Summer, But It Was ‘Chili’ At Heritage Port

The annual Wheeling Feeling Chili Cookoff satisfied afficionados of the dish Saturday afternoon at Wheeling’s Heritage Port. Dozens of chili chefs, from first-timers to competition pros, passed out samples of their recipes, from red chili to chili verde and even some special concoctions like seafood chili. A strong storm that pushed across the Ohio River temporarily stalled the proceedings, but hundreds were able to enjoy the food and fun.
