MOUNDSVILLE – Living My Best Cigar Life was this year’s overall winner during the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce’s Launchpad Pitch Contest held at Grand Vue Park.
Scott Reager, executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, said Living My Best Cigar Life won more than $7,000 in cash and prizes.
“Their business concept focuses on creating a unique, hands-on cigar experience in Marshall County – offering opportunities for guests to learn about cigar production, participate in rolling demonstrations, and explore both the craft and retail side of the business,” he said.
“The company plans to use the award funds to further professional training and certification in cigar rolling and instruction, allowing them to expand educational offerings and better teach others about the process.”
Reager noted the business, located at 259 Jefferson Ave. in Moundsville, also plans to purchase equipment needed to cut and prepare tobacco for rolling demonstrations and experiences at the shop.
“Congratulations to Tyler Harto of Living My Best Cigar Life on this year’s win and recognition,” he said.
The contest winner was determined by a fan-favorite vote. People could purchase votes for $1 each. Gracefully Gluten Free LLC of Moundsville finished second in the pitch contest, while Games and More at 286 Jefferson Ave. in Moundsville finished third. Game Masters also participated in the contest.
