Warwood UMC To Host Pork Chop Dinner
WHEELING — The Warwood United Methodist Church, 1438 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, will be hosting a Pork Chop Dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23. Dinners will be both eat-in or take out. The meal will include a pork chop, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and corn, coleslaw, rolls and choice of dessert. The price will be $15. Following the dinner visit the Farmers’ Market and free concert in Garden Park. The market includes artisans, crafters and community booths.
Street lights being replaced throughout Wheeling
A portion of U.S. 40 (National Road) in Elm Grove will be restricted to one lane beginning Friday through mid-July for street light replacements. Another portion of U.S. 40 from Romney Road to Washington Avenue also will be restricted to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning on Friday through mid-July, for street light replacement. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect slight delays.

Fiber optic installation coming to Proctor
Portions of Wetzel County Route 89 (Proctor Creek Road) and County Route 1/15 (Brock Ridge Road) in Proctor will be restricted to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning on Thursday, June 25, through early November for fiber optic installation. Flaggers will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect slight delays.

Slip repair coming to Paden Fork Road
A portion of Wetzel County Route 26 (Paden Fork Road) will be restricted to one lane from milepost 0.40 to milepost 1.10 beginning on Monday, June 22, through late August, for a slip repair. The lane closure will be 24 hours a day. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers and temporary traffic signals. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays.

Bridgeport BOE changes site of next meeting
The Bridgeport Exempted Village School District Board of Education’s scheduled regular board meeting on June 30 at 6 p.m. will now be in the choir room at the school building. The address is 55707 Industrial Drive, Bridgeport, Ohio, 43912.
