WHEELING -- Motorcyclists and supporters from across the Ohio Valley are invited to participate in Chad’s Ride on Saturday to honor the memory of Chad “Knuckles” Senkbeil while promoting motorcycle awareness and roadway safety.

The annual event is open to motorcycles and other vehicles, and there is no cost to participate.

Participants will begin gathering at noon at the Elm Grove Eagles, with the ride departing at 1 p.m.

The route will travel to The Barton Trap in St. Clairsville before continuing to J&B Bar on Dallas Pike and concluding at Wakim’s Bar in Elm Grove.

Organizers said the ride serves as both a memorial to Senkbeil and a reminder for motorists to watch for motorcycles and share the road safely.

The event also provides an opportunity for family, friends and community members to gather in remembrance while raising awareness about motorcycle safety.

Event organizers encourage both longtime participants and first-time riders to attend.
