The Wheeling Rotary on Tuesday presented the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley with $15,000 for its Disaster Response and Recovery Fund. The fund was created in the wake of the deadly Ohio County floods of June 2025 that killed nine people and destroyed dozens of homes. The Rotary’s officers for the 2025-26 year presented the CFOV with the check. Pictured are, from left, vice president Nick Sparachane, secretary Cory Barack, CFOV Executive Director Susie Nelson, treasurer Shelly Carenbauer, president Jamie Crow and president-elect Betsy Bethel McFarland.
