Annual Breakfast To Highlight Marshall County Projects

MOUNDSVILLE -- Local business leaders, elected officials and residents will have an opportunity to hear updates on major projects and initiatives during the annual State of Marshall County Breakfast on Sept. 17 at Grand Vue Park.
Hosted by the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, the event begins at 8 a.m. in Grand Vue Park’s event hall.
Scheduled speakers include representatives from the city of Moundsville, WVU Medicine, Marshall County Schools, the Marshall County Commission, the Regional Economic Development Partnership and the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Office.
“This annual event brings together leaders from across Marshall County to share updates on the projects, initiatives and opportunities shaping our community,” said Scott Reager, executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.
“The State of Marshall County Breakfast is a great opportunity to learn what’s happening throughout our county, hear about upcoming projects and initiatives, and connect with community leaders.
“It’s all about keeping our businesses, organizations and local governments informed while strengthening communication and collaboration across Marshall County.”
Reager said the breakfasts began in 2018.
Tickets are $20 and include breakfast. They can be purchased by calling 304-845-2773. Sponsorship tables also are available for $500.
“We hope you’ll join us on Sept. 17 for this informative and engaging morning as we work together to build an even stronger Marshall County,” he said.
